Tank Shock!

Mid-January already? It’s been a busy year so far. I was hoping to get some painting done over the break, but unfortunately holiday commitments planned otherwise. I did however manage to get in a few games of Blood Bowl, and I’m happy to say that my team – The Chaqua Chupacabras, fared nicely. The event was hosted by my good friend James Craig, also known as tkkultist on a buncha forums. I’ve always loved BB’s more humorous touches, even though I haven’t really played much since Third Edition…

Anyways… onto the next page!

  8. Pug says:

Absolutely awesome! had me laughing all the way! Do you hand draw and digital ink or all digital…or like me hand draw scan, fiddle about, more fiddlinging and then finish it?!?

    Keep’em comin’ ‘Uumie!

  9. Sgt. Panz says:

Thanks Pug. I currently draw and colour everything digitally, using Photoshop and my Wacom Cintiq. However as my shoddy release schedule can attest to, I’m finding that this is not the most efficient use of time.

I’m Currently looking at a few different options: Manga Studio is a top contender, as is using Flash or Illustrator to ink my sketches in vector – Flash having the added bonus of being able to create stock parts using graphics with multiple frames.

For more on the latter technique check this out: http://dummcomics.com/news/2010/02/big-pants-mouse-behind-the-scenes-2/

I’ll try to do a process screencast as soon as I nail down the final technique…
