Not Good with Faces, Nor with Names

Well, thanks for all the support last week; when 2am rolls around and I am still working on the comic, it’s nice to know that all the effort is appreciated! With that being said… two weeks and two late comics! It’s no coincidence that both weekends prior to the late pages were jam-packed with activity – leaving just Monday evening to draw the whole thing!

With that in mind I am contemplating moving the weekly release date to Wednesdays – that gives me two full evenings to draw if need be…

Anyways… feel free to comment on the idea, one way or the other… I am off to bed! ZZZzzz…

Panel 1 Meanwhile on the furthest flank... Berger: Alright laddies, we're gonna push through this mess... I'm not losing another damned unit! Chipps - cut me a hole through that wire. Crispe: sigh, it's Crispe, Sarge. Panel 2 Berger: Reece! Ladell! Onward to glory! Crispe: Sir? There's no "Reece" in the squad... Crispe: OR a "Ladell". Panel 3 Berger (off panel): Chipps! Where's my damned hole?!? Guardsman: You think he's talking to US? Panel 4 Berger (off panel): Squat, Wafer give me a hand! Guardsman: Okay... Guardsman: Is ANYONE named Wafer? Crispe: I think, maybe... in his former squad?! Panel 5 Berger: By the Golden Throne! SOMEONE get me outta here! Guardsman: I think someone needs to cut him loose. Crispe: Preferably before we get into deeper danger!

    Truly splendid! Top notch characters, art artwork!

    I think I relate to sgt. Berger; I say the same kinds of things… and tend to lose the guardsmen under my command a lot quicker than the other guy…

    These comics are great! It is worth the wait to get the quality humor and artwork that you present in Gone To Ground. I’ve been reading since this started and I saw it linked on Tsoalr and you are off to a GREAT start! Can’t wait for more!

    nice comic, I’m a fan of the IG myself, I like the way you draw las-guns.

    btw does anyone else realize that IG is GI backwards? (GI = General Infantry)
