Another late update… I have to stop making apologies, and I guess I need to adjust my schedule.
When Josh and I started the comic back in April, I had a lot more free time on my hands than I do now, almost half a year later; I need to find some time between pages to work on personal projects that have taken a backseat to Gone To Ground.
You see, my goal for this year is to have one of my projects finished and self-published so that I can take it around to some cons next year and see what kind of interest I can generate.
So I’ve decided to take the comic off the weekly schedule (which I’ve been missing two thirds of the time) and go with a bimonthly-if-not-weekly approach.
Hopefully this won’t be a permanent change, and hopefully not TOO many of you will lose interest and desert the 401!

As a side note: if you haven’t already, and if you use an RSS reader… you can click the “Subscribe” button and add Gone To Ground to your reader, getting updates whenever they’re newly posted!

But is it a frag or is it a krak? I love the ongoing gag, no-one knows the difference.
S’truth? Is that ork australian? That’s an interesting idea if ever I saw one.
As for timing, bi-monthly will be fine and if you ever have any spare time you could have some more of those interludes, I’d love to find out how the snotling becomes that rabid beast, he seemed so happy in that photo.
@Ben : That used to be sergeant’s stripes on some of the artwork in the Rogue Trader days, I always figured that the upper and lower outlines counted as two of the three “Stripes” with the inset one making the third.
@Reece : That is how realise is spelled in English-English.
Those cadian noobs! At least the death korps makes sure to manufacture their frags and kraks distinctively!
Hehe, Squats.
The lack of distinction between frag and krak grenades on models used to bother me until I realized that no one cares
@ Reece
Your argument about guardsmen not using the current system of rank is quite illogical when you consider that the cadian sergeant model has 3 chevrons on his sleeves.
@ Simon
It’s not uncommon to have other NCO ranks commanding squads, but what you’re describing is definetly one chevron.
Don`t sweat it man. We love the comic anyway.
Frag are the nades for terrain aint they?
^^ They aint gonna get the anything blown up with that.
The difference between frag and krak is actually very easy.
Cadians have frags! Kraks they don`t. Thats it^^
hey… an Ork Pikkup can collapse just because the darn grot maintaining it pulled on the wrong leverage and fastened the right screw wrong … or so….
Dammit Nash! I was going to post that! I’ll just settle for “NI!”.
Another nice strip.I wont abandon you for what is worth and i think nobody will.Take your time real life comes first.
Once again! Krieg have much clearer rank distinctions compared to those noobie Cadians!!!!
