Well it looks like Sergeant Cooke’s going to be stuck with that Powerfist for some time! I’m sure he hasn’t given up on getting it off, but right now he’s gotta lead his squad to the front!
Cake’s always taking heat for the trouble he stirs up, and this time is no different. I’m sure he’ll recover from that nasty uppercut, and maybe Cooke will even forgive him… someday!

I am bit lost with the Power Fist recall joke. I know it is a dig on the new codex only allowing them in Company Command Squads, but they have been officer only for a few editions now (no a sergeant is not an officer, no matter that they do all the officers work).
Still it is a funny comic and I will be following it with interest.

First off great comic so far. I really like the art style you’ve chosen for it and the dialog is well written.
Having said that I have to echo Gask’s confusion as to the power fist joke. Just so I wasn’t spouting my mouth off without support I dug out both 3rd edition IG codexes, the 2nd edition codex, and the 1st edition Compendium (that contained the first IG army list) to do some checking. Unless I’m missing something sergeants have never been able to take power fists in any edition of 40k, only officers (Lieutenants, Captains, Commanders, and Commissars). Maybe you’re referring to a rumor that was going around before the 5th edition codex release that I didn’t hear about though and I’m just totally missing the joke

Its hard to tell. Could be chimera with Heavy bolters or could be hellounds, looks liek there might be tanks on the back of them.
Going off thier poximity to the infantry units I’d err on the side of chimeras
I didn’t get the recall part until I read the comments. Perhaps you guys should work a bit more on building up the joke. Like the sarge coming in complaining he may no longer us the fist.
Also, the proper channels? He got a fist on the black market for his sergeant? WTF? Jokes don’t need to make sense, but as far as I can tell this remark is just an excuse in the plot to be able to smack the guy.
