Aaahh, bureaucracy! If there’s one aspect of the 40K universe that I love it’s the utter futility of the Administratum; it kinda reminds me Terry Gilliam’s “Brazil” (Still one of my all time favourite films). Another aspect would be the servo-skulls; cause who wouldn’t want their skull performing menial tasks after they died?
So here we see the repercussions of Berger’s inability to remember Crispe’s name; or anyone else’s for that matter. The next page rounds out this storyline, and Josh and I have been churning out the next one. We’ve also taken stock of all the victories and defeats we had with the current one, and hope that we can solve some of the major problems (the schedule for one).
Last week “Nick” posted a comment about ads and advertising for GW. Allegations of our dorkiness aside, I assure you that any ad revenue GtG has made hasn’t even justified the ad service writing me a cheque; at this rate it’ll be 3-4 years before I see my first $50. It was an experiment and it hasn’t really panned out. Heck, of all the site’s “Sponsors”, Bit Kingdom was the first – and they never paid up. So I guess what I am saying is that as an ad revenue generator, GtG isn’t doing so hot. Gimmick? Nah… Gone to Ground was born out of a pint-fueled pub conversation (literally) Josh an I had about the humorous side of 40K and how it’s being lost in all the Grim-Darkiness™ – which kinda makes it all the more funny.
